Polypropylene Webbing
Polypropylene webbing offers many great features. It is inexpensive, does not absorb water, comes in all sorts of widths and colors and has minimal stretch. Its ultra violet (UV) resistance is fair making it useful for many outdoor applications. Polypropylene webbing is commonly used for bags, backpacks, camping gear, pet leashes, battery box hold downs, general purpose straps and luggage. If you are looking for color, poly gives you plenty of choices (although it will fade in time if exposed to UV). What polypropylene lacks is strength so it must not be used for any lifting or life safety applications. Polypropylene webbing has a melting point of 330°F.
We offer black in sizes from ½" to 3". For a great selection of colors check out the 1" size (colors in other sizes can be easily ordered). Most polypro webbing comes in 300' rolls which can have up to two (2) splices. We sell webbing by the foot and if you need a number of pieces the same length we have the ability in-house to provide cutting using an automated hot cutting machine for a nominal charge.
